Inspire - integrative airway care

We work to identify and manage airway issues that affect breathing, sleep, craniofacial development and daily life.

My name is Chelsea Grabarz and I’m an airway focused dentist in West Chester, Ohio. I wanted share a little about myself and the types of things we are doing to support children like like yours. I’m passionate about this work and I’m here to help so please feel free to reach out with questions or concerns.

My roots are in family dentistry but my passion is in airway, growth guidance and tethered oral tissues. While I have always been fascinated with oral systemic health, my journey into the world of tethered oral tissues, airway dentistry and growth guidance really began with the birth of my son. I have seen first hand the power of tongue tie release and collaborative care with my own children. I’m dedicated to providing the best possible airway care for your family and mine. I prioritize conservative, compassionate and individualized care. We will do all we can to help you breathe, smile and live your healthiest life.

Approximately 60% of craniofacial growth is completed around age 6. We want to take advantage of this malleable period where we can optimize the growth of our children’s teeth, airway and jaws. If we are proactive we can set them up for a lifetime of straight teeth, healthy nasal breathing and good sleep! Some patients require simple myofunctional therapy exercises to improve oral tone and posture. We help others optimize growth with oral appliances or oral tie release. Less frequently, patients require a referral to an ENT and/ or asleep study. Our team is educated and skilled to assess your child’s oral structures and function to provide personalized, evidence based treatment.

Dentists and physicians are not instructed on how to address these issues in school which is why I have completed 100s of hours of continuing education and certification courses to learn how to assess oral function and create individualized treatment plans. I have completed course work with The Breathe Institute, ASAPPathways, MyoMunchee, Myobrace, Spear Education, Invisalign, The Alabama Tongue Tie Academy, TheAmerican Academy of Physiologic Medicine & Dentistry, The Ortho2Health Mentorship with Dr. Bill Hang, AirwayHealth Solutions with Dr. Kevin Boyd, The Infant Frenectomy Protocol with Dr. Pinto and more.

I would love to hear more about your child. Even at an early age, there is so much we can do to support proper growth. We care deeply about your child’s teeth, jaws, airway and sleep and are here to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
