Dr. Nicholas W. Grabarz, DDS

After receiving his undergraduate degree and DDS from The Ohio State University, Dr. Nicholas W. Grabarz started practicing dentistry in Fairfield, Ohio. He opened Beckett Dental Care in September 1993 and has provided general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry to area residents ever since. A member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the Cincinnati Dental Society, Dr. Grabarz has focused his continuing education on general dentistry and cosmetics, taking classes through Rosenthal and the prestigious Hornbrook Group.

Dr. Grabarz is a USSA-certified official for high school swimming and co-president at Becket Ridge Aquatic and Tennis Club. He and his wife Lorri have two daughters, in college. Dr. Grabarz gives back to the community through involvement in Cornerstone United Methodist Church and support of Lakota West High School. He loves rooting for Ohio State sports, traveling, snow-skiing, and cooking. In fact, Dr. Grabarz makes a mean salsa!

Meet Our Team

Clare Austin, Office Administrator

With a BA and MBA from the University of Dayton, Clare Austin uses knowledge and skill in her role as office administrator. She loves her co-workers, our patients, and the daily challenges her job presents. Married to husband Michael for almost 27 years, Clare has two teenage children. Competitive swimming dominates much of her life outside of work. In fact, Clare and her family recently purchased the Beckett Ridge Aquatic and Tennis Center.

Paulette Brookhart, Office Administrator

Paulette Brookhart brings 28 years experience in the dental field to our team. As an office administrator, she welcomes patients to our practice and enjoys getting to know them all. She has been married to her husband Ron for almost 28 years, and they have two beautiful daughters. An animal lover at heart, Paulette feels passionately about animals, especially dogs, and dreams of one day owning a horse.

Jeanne Hanes, Registered Dental Hygienist/Office Manager

As a registered dental hygienist and our office manager, Jeanne Hanes juggles dual roles in our practice. In 1987, Jeanne graduated from the University of Cincinnati with an associate’s of applied science degree in dental hygiene. She focuses on creating a relaxed atmosphere for patients and still sees patients as her schedule permits. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Jeanne and her husband have two children. Her free time is spent with church activities, singing, and traveling.

Teresa Trebbien, Office Administrator

For nine years, Teresa Trebbien has served our patients with professional customer service. Assisting patients with their dental treatment and understanding of good dental health is her top priority. Attending Bakersfield City College with focus on accounting and finance compliments her ability to assist our patients in all aspects of their dental treatment. Teresa and husband John have three children and two grandchildren. Whenever possible, they enjoy traveling and vacationing throughout the US, Mexico, and Europe.

Diane Hanes, Dental Assistant

Diane Hanes has 10 years experience as a dental assistant, but she chose to take off three years to spend extra time with her five-year-old twin girls. Dr. Grabarz provided Diane with lots of on-the-job training, and she has earned her radiology certification as well. She likes the upbeat, friendly environment of our practice and works to make patients feel like part of our extended family. Diane enjoys taking pictures and scrapbooking to relax.

Cynthia Hamann, Dental Assistant

As one of the newest team members, Cynthia Hamann earned a BA from Eastern Kentucky University and has worked in our office for seven months. She has been married for 24 years and has three children. Cynthia takes pleasure in helping patients achieve their goals and watching patients leave with beautiful smiles. Her hobbies include watching college sports, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Jennifer House, Certified Dental Assistant

Jennifer has been part of our team since 1994. She is married and has two children. She is a graduate of the Institute of Medical and Dental Technology and is a current member of the Dental Assistants National Board. Jennifer's goal is to make each patient feel as comfortable as she can during their care here at our office. She is always upbeat and tries to maintain close relationships with her patients as well as her co-workers. She enjoys spending time with her famiy and friends, boating and her new love...Facebook!

Patty Acuña, Registered Dental Hygienist

For 20 years, Patty Acuña has worked as a registered dental hygienist; she has spent the last three years in our office. Patty attended Ohio State University and is a National Board Certified dental hygienist. She and her husband Dan have three children. Keeping her patients smiles healthy and strong is Patty’s top priority. Outside of work, Patty likes to watch her kids’ sporting events, adventure snow ski, read, cook, and volunteer at church.

Dalin Holmes, Registered Dental Hygienist

While filling in for one of Dr. Grabarz’s hygienists, Dalin Holmes decided to join this practice and has worked here for over eight years. Dalin strives to make patients comfortable while providing quality care. Happily married to her husband Jack, they have two young sons. Her hobbies include running, weight training, scrapbooking, and visiting with her family.

Kathy Overback, Registered Dental Hygienist

With an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and a BS from the University Of Kentucky, Kathy has practiced in the dental office setting and as a dental hygiene educator at Sinclair Community College and the University of Cincinnati. She focuses on providing comfortable care for her patients in a friendly way. With her husband, Cy, they enjoy travel, bridge and their first granddaughter. Three sons live in the West Chester area. Kathy enjoys volunteering with Butler County adults with developmental disabilities.

Laura Scudder, Registered Dental Hygienist

Although she is a Fort Wayne Native, Laura Scudder has called the West Chester area home for the past 16 years. Laura has worked as a registered dental hygienist for 30 years in both public health and private practice settings. She married 20 years ago and has two sons. Laura spends her free time hiking, traveling, and volunteering for the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati.

Angela, Registered Dental Hygienist

Graduated in 1992, from Wright State University, with a BA in Education and in 2008, from the University of Cincinnati, Raymond Walters College, with a degree of Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Angie possesses a high degree of persistence and enthusiasm in all of her work. She is a team member who cares for her patients, by being kind and honest, about their oral health and care for their teeth. Doug and Angie were married in 1988, share 4 children together; Jordan, Jansen, Jeron, and Jaden and live in Mason, OH. Outside of work, Angie enjoys watching over 100 baseball games a summer, attending gymnastic meets during the winter, going to church with her family and spending time with family and friends.
